Great Grandpa and Grandma Durand

Before Mike started back to school we loaded up the car and headed for Roseburg. Our little Honda was packed to the max...our stuff...Casey's stuff...and we took Sadie too! Needless to say, we are saving our pennies and looking forward to (eventually) purchasing a larger vehicle.

We headed south to visit Mike's Grandparents for a few days so they could meet their newest great grandson. What a wonderful time we had! Casey travels like a champ, he slept the whole car ride there and back. We greatly enjoyed chatting and catching up, reading, relaxing, and a tour of Roseburg (I have never really explored Roseburg. Grandpa played tour guide and it was interesting to hear about the changes that have come about during the time they have lived there). Sadie was in dog heaven, so many smells, cats to chase and she feasted on a few bones Grandma had set aside for her.

The trip came to an end all too quickly. We are so grateful for our family. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa "D" for a wonderful visit!
